Every character begins on Dawnport at level 1 with no vocation. You choose your vocation there and leave for the mainland at level 30, with a full set of gear for that level, 10 crystal coins and a training weapon. Monks are the exception: they choose with Oressa and start at the Thais docks.
Experience runs in stages: x600 up to level 45 and down from there, ending at x2 past level 500. Skills and magic level go from x40 down to x10. Loot is x1.5 and spawn is x1.25, and VIP adds 15% to experience, loot and skills. The full table is on the Server Info page.
Not below level 200. That is the protection level: characters under it cannot attack or be attacked by other players. Above it the world is Expert PvP, with the usual skull and protection zone rules.
9 in 4 hours, 15 in a week or 30 in a month. A frag stops counting 24 hours after it happened. A red skull lasts 1 day, a black skull 3 and an orange skull 7.
Yes, it is charged once a month from your bank balance. To buy a house you need level 300, and you pay its price (1,000 gold per square) plus the rent of the first month, all at once. After that, if your bank balance is not enough, a letter arrives in your mailbox and it is tried again the next day; after seven days without paying, you lose the house. You also lose it after 30 days without logging in.

Yes, and every effect is written on the offer. Besides outfits, mounts and auras, the shop sells experience scrolls (+50% or +70% for two hours of hunting), relics for the ammunition slot (for example +3 skills or +4 magic level) and the Solera Backpack, which restores health and mana. Weapons and armour are not for sale.
