Starting out
Every character begins on Dawnport at level 1 with no vocation. You pick your vocation there and leave for the mainland at level 30, with a full set for that level.
Monks are the exception: they choose with Oressa and start at the Thais docks.
Other areas
Quest zones, event rooms and the starting islands. No houses, but they are on the map.
