Music Across the Game World
Dear Tibians!
Solera now has music. Each city has its own tunes, so do the countryside and the caves, and the music changes as you travel.
Where It Plays
Thais, Carlin, Venore, Ab'Dendriel, Kazordoon, Darashia, Ankrahmun, Svargrond, Yalahar, Rathleton and the other cities each play music in their own style: lutes and guitars in Ab'Dendriel, the sound of the forges in Kazordoon, desert melodies in Darashia. Outside the cities you hear calm exploration music, and underground a darker one for caves and dungeons. When you cross into another zone, the current song fades out and the next one fades in.
The login screen has its own music now as well.
How to Get It
Open the launcher and it will download the new client by itself (about 80 MB of music). If you don't hear anything, go to Options → Sound, where you can turn the music on (Enable music sound) and set its volume (Music volume).
All the songs are free music from OpenGameArt and Kevin MacLeod. The client lists every author in mods/client_bgm/CREDITS.txt.
